Hi,
So i've been flat out for the past couple of months, which is not a complaint at all! Loving working with all the crew and the judges are also a delight to work with.

Have a look at the new masterchef promo just launched that i worked on. http://www.masterchef.com.au/video.htm?movideo_p=44494&movideo_m=100179

Also i managed to get my mug on the front page of the website! http://www.masterchef.com.au/home.htm

I recently shot the milk from a thistle lookbook, some nice prints to look forward too. The model was amazing and cute as a button. More to come when i get some images to put up for you.

I've had the pleasure of working on some beautiful brides recently, once i chase down some pics i'll pop them up!

Cheers!

Happy new year!

Happy new year!
Best of luck to everyone.
I'm going to attempt writing a blog. It might not be too regular, but i will do my best. This is funny to most people that know me because I'm very slow at typing and tend to stay away from using computers as I'm quite useless on them.

Any way this year brings a super busy year for me as i have just landed the role of head of make up for Masterchef series 3 which we started shooting late last year. I'm loving working with the cast and crew even though the days tend to be super long.
My wedding bookings are coming in nice and steady for the beginning of the year and i can't wait to be involved with the wedding days of the brides that i have already been booked by.

As this is predominately a wedding make up and hair site (you can see my other work at www.simonecozens.com) I thought it would be nice to start by adding some brides that i worked with towards the end of last year. As I've never done a blog before i thought i might also add in some of my favourite photo shoots, and favourite bits of clothing from look books and shoots throughout the last year. These will come through days or weeks apart.

One New years resolution i made this year (that i intend to keep) was that i would do more to help animals that were being mistreated. So I have just donated to bricks for bears http://www.bricksforbears.org.au/. They are a great organisation trying to put a stop to bear baiting. In a nutshell bear baiting is a "sport" in Pakistan that chains black bears to the ground in an arena once they have had their claws removed. They then set upon the bear a pack of savage dogs to try to kill it. Any donation you can make to this cause to stop this awful sport is a help.

OK so I'll get some pics up super soon.

Cheers,
Simone
